“J has one of the sharpest GTM instincts I've come across. He is quick to understand unique situations and find the market, fast, and the gaps others miss. What impressed me most was how he moves between different buying cultures (US/UK/IL) — he doesn't force one playbook onto both; he understands why they're different and adjusts. He's also just dependable. What he says he'll do, he does, on time, no chasing required. Great GTM thinking is common. Someone who executes on it reliably is rare. J is both.”
About
Built by an operator, not a deck factory.
I'm Johnny Clarke, UK GTM Architect at Pineapple. Before that: ten years inside B2B SaaS sales and go-to-market, including Similarweb and Google, then five years at monday.com.
At monday.com I joined as an early UK & Ireland rep and progressed to leading the regional new-business function, overseeing three teams and around 15 quota-carrying account executives across SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise.
Before that, I ran the sales function at Everthere, an early-stage B2B startup operating out of London and Tel Aviv, where I owned GTM strategy and execution end to end. It's the same seat most of the founders I work with are sitting in right now.
Outside of client work, I'm an angel investor with Nodes Ventures, an angel syndicate investing £20k–£200k in pre-seed and seed startups across London's tech ecosystem, and a council facilitator with Pavilion, a community for commercial leaders.
Pineapple exists for founders who want a practical GTM sparring partner for the specific decision in front of them. Not a vague advisor call. Not a bloated consulting engagement.
What founders and colleagues say
People who've worked with Johnny.
“Johnny is one of the more thoughtful and intelligent people I've worked with. A results-driven sales leader that can break apart and reconstruct any deal, market opportunity or strategic approach to deliver beyond expectations. Johnny built sales at day one, and was always on top of the complicated go-to-market, product-market-fit, pricing and sales-motion questions in a way that reflected his experience, while at the same time remained completely open to learnings from the market. If you get to work with Johnny, you're in luck!”
“Johnny is a rock star! and it was pleasure to see him growing in Similarweb over year in his different roles. He was a strong commercial contributor and hard working person, in his role he added a lot of value into the company product strategy, with his strong in-depth understanding of our customer needs.”
“Johnny worked for me at monday, and I promoted him during that time because he kept delivering on what he took on. He was a great team player and a pleasure to work with. He has sharp GTM instincts and moves fast without cutting corners. Any founder or VC bringing him in for GTM work is getting someone who thinks straight and follows through.”
“I worked closely with Johnny on setting up the new business sales function in the UK at monday.com, and he's one of the best leaders I've come across. Trustworthy, sharp, a phenomenal operator who builds things that hold up once he moves on. Anyone who gets to work with him is lucky.”
